Terms of Service

Effective 10 October 2026

These terms govern your use of ReceiptFold ("the Service"), operated by the owner of receiptfold.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

ReceiptFold gives you an email address to forward receipts and invoices to, extracts their key fields, and writes them as rows into a spreadsheet you own on Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (OneDrive). It also shows a dashboard built from that spreadsheet and, on some plans, an embeddable widget.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in links private. You are responsible for the mail you forward and for the forwarding rules you create. One person or one team may use a workspace; do not share secret API keys.

3. Your data and your spreadsheet

The spreadsheet belongs to you. We only write rows into it and read it back to render your dashboard; we do not store its contents. You can disconnect it at any time; ReceiptFold then stops writing and loses access. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

5. Plans, billing and limits

A free plan is available with monthly document limits. Paid plans are billed through Stripe monthly or yearly and renew automatically until cancelled from Settings. Prices and limits are shown in the dashboard before you subscribe. If you exceed your plan, processing pauses until the next period or until you upgrade or opt in to metered overage.

6. Accuracy

Extraction is automated and can be wrong. Rows the parser is unsure about are placed in a review queue for you to confirm. ReceiptFold is a bookkeeping aid, not accounting, tax or legal advice; verify the figures before relying on them.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but provide the Service "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service, your spreadsheet remains yours.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You can delete your workspace or account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination we revoke our access to your spreadsheet and delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
